More than 14,000 people attended Heavenly Melody’s concerts in Malaysia and Indonesia, and more than 2,100 came to the front to receive Jesus as Savior or re-commit their lives to God on the tail end of 2023, Heavenly Melody’s 60th anniversary year.
Heavenly Melody’s first post-pandemic Southeast Asia began on October 19. From October 19 to 30, the group held 12 concerts in 5 cities, Kuching, Sarikei, Kapit, Sibu, Bintulu, and Miri, in Sarawak, Malaysia. The concerts were packed with more than 2,000 people attending each night. Rev. Abraham Liu of Taipei Revival Church preached powerful sermons at these concerts, and many people flocked to the front at the end of each night.
On November 1, the group flew to Jakarta, Indonesia to attend the 2nd Annual Impact Asia Alliance Conference of church and business leaders from Southeast Asian countries. Heavenly Melody led the worship at the 3-day conference and ORTV Executive Director and Heavenly Melody Director Daniel Hsieh shared in one of the sessions. Heavenly Melody ended their Southeast Asia concert tour by performing in two of Indonesia’s largest Chinese churches, The Reformed Evangelical Church of Indonesia and GMI Immanuel Perdagangan on November 5. Praise God for the opportunity to share His love with thousands, and we look forward to returning to Southeast Asia in the near future.
