From December 8 to 17, Studio Classroom and Heavenly Melody held five Christmas concerts, and more than 20,000 people attended the concerts in-person or online via livestream. This year’s theme was “The Greatest Story”, and we told the story of Jesus coming to Earth through an inspiring musical, an original creation. Heavenly Melody wrote several new songs for this musical and sang Christmas classics as well. Studio Classroom teacher Hazel Johansen shared about the gift of salvation and Studio Classroom Executive Director and Heavenly Melody Director Danieh Hsieh shared a personal testimony and gave an invitation to receive God’s love to conclude the concerts. Hundreds raised their hands to receive Jesus or learn more about Him in each concert.
Hsieh stated: “We deeply care about youth and children. Each year, many children, youth and families attend our Christmas concerts. Our hope is that our concerts will instill positive values in children and youth and help them have the right values.”
Studio Classroom and Heavenly Melody have held annual Christmas concerts since 1966. The bilingual concerts use music, drama and storytelling to share the true meaning of Christmas, the gift of Jesus Christ.
