HM Light held a special concert for youth at Linkou Tabernacle Church in fall 2024. The group shared songs from their album Praise in Waiting and lead singer Jack Kao shared a personal testimony. The music sharing, similar to a live bar performance, allowed the group to interact directly with the audience, making it a highly effective way to make deeper connections.
The young church, established in October 2023, has many young families and teenagers. Thus, a sister from the church’s mother church, Hsiao-ting, recommended the church invite HM Light as the group’s music appeals to young people.
Pastor Hsu Heng-tai noted both the young people and older people who attended thoroughly enjoyed the concert, and the youth were able to learn from the heart to serve from HM Light’s members. Pastor Ya-Ru, a musician herself who studied percussion at Versailles Regional Conservatory in France, trains the church’s youth worship team. Her three children also participate in the worship team. She stated she really enjoyed HM Light’s music, and the group has great chemistry. She was also very touched by Jack’s testimony.
