Dr. Doris Brougham Obtains Taiwan Citizenship

On May 19, Dr. Doris Brougham became a naturalized citizen of Taiwan after the Ministry of the Interior finalized her naturalization. On June 21, Taipei Mayor Wayne Chiang and Director Lin Ching-chi of the Department of Household Affairs, MOI, visited Studio Classroom headquarters and presented Brougham with her Certificate of Naturalization and her Taiwan identity card.

Mayor Chiang and Director Lin thanked Brougham for her 72 years of dedication and selfless service to Taiwan’s people. Brougham expressed that “Where your heart is, is home. And my home is Taiwan.” She felt honored to receive Taiwan citizenship and strongly believes if we love one another and never give up, together, we can make a better future for Taiwan and the world.
